Kell’s general attitude regarding the riding of bicycles is best summed up in the quote, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.” Turns out winning bike races can be a lot of fun. Kell has been racing bikes since the wee days of kiddo BMX and has parlayed those early skills trough the fixed world and into both CX and XC California single speed State Championships, as well as the 2019 Tracklocross National title.
When Kell rides the “fun” is inescapable. The bicycle—no longer a machine who’s sole purpose is travels in one direction—Kell bounces, jumps, slides, and glides along. Joyously piloting a wide variety of bikes through the intercity streets of the messenger, the adrenaline packed tape lanes of race courses around the world, or exploring roads and trails from here to who knows where…
